From Galaxies to Bacteria

The trip we recently took to ASU was informative and fun. While there we learned things about objects in space, and the things ASU offers to the world in terms of research. The first presentation was about our galaxy, other planets, and the thousands of galaxies that are even still currently being recorded. We were provided with college students who told us about how we can get into some of the fields offered at ASU and some of the things about normal college life. I thought this part was particularly interesting because I don’t have much of an idea what life will be like after high school, whichever path that may be. A tour of the building containing most of their research labs was administered and we learned that, those very labs are affecting some of the things about our lives like how water is treated. I thought this trip was great because they showed us some fields that might interest us and showed us how we might get there.
